Great location in Hapjeong, spacious, and clean in good price

We bookes for 2 bedroom room for 5 people. Room is spacious and properly equipped. There are enough chairs for all of us. Beds are clean. Location is very great. - Lots of nice place for dining, drinking and enjoying desserts. - Going to/from airport is very easy. We choose to take airport bus back and forth. Both from/to airport is not far from the hotel. - close to subways which are green and brown line - Homeplus, discount retail store, is in walking distance. We can buy good-dealed stuff such as dried seaweed, soju, dried fruits and nuts, ramyeon packs and etc. Wifi is fast. Communicating with host is also easy. Host respond us rapidly. We use email and Line. We are well informed. Host tell us in advance how to go to the building, what locking code is, where to deposit our bags. Host is very generous. Because of there is no booking the day we check out, she let us use the room after checking out time (11.00-12.00) until we go to the airport (16.00). Price is reasonable.

- We can hear music playing in the middle of the night (especially Fri, Sat). It's because there are a lot of restaurants next to this buidling. Earplugs is recommended for one is a noise sensitive. - Since our room is on the 3rf floor and there is no elevator, it's very uncomfortable for people with heavy bags. - No cleaning room during our stays.

great location in Hapcheong, everything close nearby

Very pleasant communication with the landlady in advance. We were able to clarify everything beforehand, including exact directions with photos to the apartment. Check in was totally uncomplicated, even early check in was possible in our case. Comfortable beds, Location in Hapcheong was very good, close to the subway. We really enjoyed our stay in Seoul.

Great location, pretty big apartment with all the useful facilities. Good beds.

Nothing other than the shower, really, which was hard to use for me, ceiling and shower so low that especially washing hairs was a bit of a challenge.

Great location- two separate rooms. Clean and well maintained.

The rooms were exactly as advertised, great location and the host (who I never saw) responded to all of my questions rapidly and with enthusiasm. This apartment was perfect for my group as we needed two rooms. Te subway is close as are restaurants and bars. The area is active and noisy but that was fully expected. Great value for the money.

The washroom needs a bit of updating and the pillows were a bit hard but everything was more than acceptable.

Pleasant & comfortable. Very helpful host. Tiny steps to room kills after a long day of walking.

the location at Hapjeong was on 2 main lines (Green and Brown) which was convenient. The area was happening amongst university students (just next to Hongdae), so plenty of food places. Most convenient was the new mall (Mercantile) just on the opposite side--you can access it via the underground. It has a supermart that will meet your grocery needs. The host was SUPER helpful--made sure we settled in comfortably, offered to help book an airport cab when we needed to depart back home...sad that we never got to meet in person! The place was spacious & cosy and facilities are as mentioned in the room description. Highly recommended if you're traveling with your friends.

The tiny stairs up to the 3rd floor. It's not a lot of steps and not very high, but not so convenient if you're traveling with large luggages and with a family member of over 65 years. Also, because it's a hip area amongst the youngsters, it can get a bit rowdy later at night. You'd need to be super tired to fall asleep and not be bothered by the late night chatters in the area. Maybe also because the place is just 3 floors above a basement club, which would explain the slight rowdy-ness during weekend nights.

This is a comfortable place to stay in a fun neighborhood in Seoul.

The host was easy to communicate with and was pretty easy going. I appreciated he let us stay longer on the check out day to accommodate our flight time. The whole place was comfortable and really well located.

The room is very clean and comfortable.

The room is very clean and comfortable.The owner of the guesthouse is really kind and friendly too.She prepared many games for my daughters to play in the room.Facilities in the room very complete like towels(have a big size until small size),toothbrush and toothpaste,frying pan,water dispenser,toaster and microwave.No elevator but they help us to bring our luggage to room.Many thanks to Sandy and her husband.

Awesome place!

It's a simple apartment. We liked the fact that it's minimalistic and very clean. The host ensured that we were in good condition during the entire stay and was even able to grant one of our request. I'll definitely suggest this place to my friends and even book the place myself the next time I visit Hongdae.

excellent location-close to subway, market, coffee shops, etc.

beds were uncomfortable and the unit we stayed was in 4th floor without elevator. It was very hard to carry luggage since we had 6 heavy luggage and no one can help us to carry those .

What was the highlight of Macaroni house

Good stay

The owner is very nice and helpful. Very close from Hapjeong subway station, just 5 minutes walk. Convenient to go anywhere by the circle line subway. The owner has his own bar called "Macaroni Funky Club" in the basement. The street is full of restaurants and bars, so very busy at night but quiet in the morning. Many convenient store close by.

No sign of "Macaroni House" even we arrived the 4th floor apartment door. No one answer the door and no instruction how to check in. So we went to restaurant across the street and asked help from the local people to call the owner. The apartment is on 4th floor, we took all heavy luggages up and down. The toilet should put a shower curtain.
